Outside School Hours Care

You may hear people in care using the abbreviation OSHC to describe an Out of School Hours Service. Mulberry Tree Outside School Hours Care services provide care before and after school, on pupil free days and during school term holidays for children between 5 – 12 years of age. Mulberry Tree OSHC centres focus on providing stimulating social and recreational activities for school age children. Where ever possible our OSHC centres are run from a local primary school, when this isn’t the case we use local community centres, halls, or churches.

All Mulberry Tree Outside School Hours Care services comply with State regulations and licensing requirements when providing care to school age children. This state body controls all aspects of providing care in an Out of School Hours care environment; failure to comply can result in a service being shut down.

All Mulberry Tree OSHC centres are regularly assessed by a quality assurance program run by the National Child Care Accreditation council. This organization ensures OSHC centres are operating a high quality service with the goal to ensure that every school age child in care is safe, happy and protected. Every Mulberry Tree OSHC has attained a highly accreditation status with the council for our continued commitment to providing the highest quality care for school age children in Western Australia.
