Mulberry tree Cannington is a purpose built centre that is only 5 years old. Here we aim to create an environment that is child centred and full of fun and laughter. We believe that the early childhood years are very important in every child’s development and encourage learning through play based activities and experiences. We have five rooms at the service separating each age group so the programs we run can be full of age appropriate activities.
We run a Baby’s room, a Tiny Tots Room, a Toddlers room a Kindy room and a Preschool Room. Our staff all have working with children checks as well as relevant qualifications to ensure our early learning centre promotes early childhood development in a fun and safe environment.
The staff at Cannington are enthusiastic and have a great relationship with our families which has been built up through regular communication and trust. Our staff value all parents’ opinions and understand that each family has different ideas on how they want their child to be raised. The staff at Mulberry Tree Cannington go above and beyond to ensure all families have a great experience at our child care centre by aiming to keep continuity between the home and child care environments. The staff build relationships with the children to ensure they feel safe and secure in our care allowing them to feel confident to express themselves creatively through play based experiences.
When starting child care we understand that it can be a stressful time for both the parents and children involved. To ease the settling in period we recommend parents come and visit our service with their child then start with half day sessions. Our staff are trained at settling children into care and parents are welcome to call throughout the day to find out how their child is going. We can also stay in touch via email with parents throughout the day and send photos of your child at play to reassure you that they are ok.
Our centre has an open door policy so come down whenever you are free and one of our friendly staff will show you around.
