At Cannington OSHC we understand that the children we look after have had a big day at school so we aim to create an environment that is free flowing and relaxed. Our centre is run from a local church which has a massive hall for activities and craft plus 2 outdoor areas for bikes and games. We have even set up our own fabulous veggie patch which the children maintain.

Our service is run by a qualified primary school teacher named Heidi who creates weekly programs based on the children’s interest and ideas. The children are offered afternoon tea once back at the service after school then Heidi encourages and supervises a homework group. The children are paired up with children of their own age and the carers assist the children with their work or reading.

We encourage healthy lifestyles at our service by teaching the children about healthy food and participating in regular cooking activities. We also encourage community involvement, we currently have the local rugby club come down to teach the children about fitness.

Mulberry Tree OSHC Cannington runs a Vacation care program which is fun filled and includes excursion such as the movies, out to lunch, park visits, bowling etc as well as incursions at the service such as animal guests, sports clinics and other fun and interesting things. So come down and meet our friendly staff and children
