Our history

Mulberry Tree commenced in 1995 with a centre in Tuart Hill, a suburb to the north of Perth CBD and currently runs 14 centres. All centres are in Perth and surrounding regions. Mulberry Tree Childcare is a Western Australian company and privately owned.

Being a locally owned company, we strive to live up to the motto "friendly staff, happy children".

Over the years, we have continuously sought feedback from parents and children as to what experience they wanted. We have also sought feedback from our staff so that their conditions are great and that they also love coming to the centre!

What they say about us

"I would have no hesitation in recommending the team at Osborne Park Mulberry tree for safe, fun and friendly childcare to anyone that asked.

My daughter who is now 18 months old and commenced care at 10 months loves coming every day to see the team and always greets them with hugs and kisses.

It is of great comfort to me that my daughter is happy every day and when we go to collect her she does not want to leave. "

Our Philosophy

We are social, and as such we all have a need to belong and feel valued. It is our belief that positive relationships are crucial to creating a sense of belonging. Guidance is provided based on sensitivity and respect, with an emphasis on promoting each child’s self-esteem and self-concept. Our role is to listen with empathy and respond with understanding to the children, their families and each other. Children are encouraged to become aware of their actions and the impact they have on others.

Children are provided with opportunities to participate in enriching and challenging experiences, based on having fun and learning through play. Learning is promoted through children’s interests while catering to individual needs by creating a fun atmosphere, this makes learning easy. Following the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach, we encourage children to interact and discover the natural beauty of their surroundings. → Read more
